Freestyle.ch 2011 was cheered by over 32.000 visitors and a bright sun. The MegaRamp, for the very first time on European soil, was surely the highlight of this edition. Snowboarder Halldor Helgason (ISL), freeskier Elias Ambühl (SUI), FMXer Dany Torres (ESP), and skateboarder Pierre-Luc Gagnon (CAN) are the big winners of this weekend of action at Landiwiese Park in Zurich. First day of Freestyle.CH was full of action. Enjoy the videos of the snowboard, skateboard, freeski and fmx qualifications and the crossover section.
In Snowboard Marko Grilc (SLO), Halldor Helgason (ICE), Christian Haller (SUI), Seppe Smits (BEL), Ståle Sandbech (NOR), Sebastien Toutant (CAN), Torgeir Bergrem (NOR) and Roope Tonteri (FIN) progressed through to the Semifinals.

In Freeski Jossi Wells (NZL), Tom Wallisch (USA), Elias Ambuehl (SUI), Kai Mahler (SUI), Andreas Hatveit (NOR), Gus Kentworthy (USA), Alex Schlopy (USA) and Markus Eder (ITA) progressed through to the Semifinals.

In the Skateboard Qualification Adam Taylor (USA), Pierre-Luc Gagnon (CAN), Elliot Sloan (USA), Paul-Luc Ronchetti, Jussi Korhonen (GBR), Jake Brown (AUS), Sando Dias (BRA) and Rony Gomes (BRA) precede, with Adam Taylor winning it.

In FMX Dany Torres (ESP), Maikel Melero (ESP), Tom Pages (FRA), Hannes Ackermann (GER), Petr Pialt (CZE) and Mat Rebeaud (SUI) progressed through to the Semifinals.

The final round of the Crossover Section saw Sebastien Toutant for the Snowboarders, Kai Mahler for the Freeskiers, Tom Pages for FMX and Vince Bryon for BMX. And the 2011 Champion is Vince Byron, who won with Triple Table Backflip & Flair

We’re talking about Zürich Freestyle, the BIG event that took place in Zürich on September 25-26: it has meant two days fully dedicated to freestyle contests and music.

Zürich Freestyle, 25-26 September : two days fully dedicated to freestyle contest, music and – shopping

In two days you’ll have the possibility to see the best riders of 4 different disciplines. Stunning!

The snowboard contest begins on saturday with 16 riders, on an huge big air. Sunday there’ll be only 8 of them left for the semi finals.

The big air is also the right place for the freeskiers, who’ll struggle till the latest and more stylish trick to obtain the title.

Not only on the snow, contests are also on the ground. The skateboard contest takes place on a vert ramp and begins with 12 riders – and it’ll remain only one!!

A dirt jump for the Fmx and the freestyle-circus, just to let you all definitely mouth open.

And finally, the crossover sessions, in which the riders of the four disciplines struggle to obtain the title of  ”crossover champ”

And if that all isn’t enough for you, enjoy the concerts on saturday night. What else could you ask? Oh yes and you can also have a look at all the new stuff 10-11!!
