Here we are with the last day of Summer X Games in Los Angeles. One of the highlights was surely the Men’s Skateboard Street competition finals, where Paul Rodriguez dominated the scene followed by Ryan Sheckler and Nyjah Huston

Bmx big air finals were pretty exciting with Steve McCann flying like there was no tomorrow with his no-handed double front-flip. Seecond place went to Zack Warden and the bronze to Kevin Robinson.

The Rally Cross saw Sebastien Loeb on top of the podium followed by Ken Block and Brian Deegan

Last but not least, the Moto X Enduro men saw the victory of Mike Brown, Cody Webb and Cory Graffunder while among the women the winners are Maria Forsberg, Louise Forsley and Chantelle Bykerk.

Bob Burnquist wins Skateboard Big Air, while Adam Taylor claimed silver and Edgard Pereira won bronze. The 14-year-old Mitchie Brusco, instead, ended fifth out of seven. Brusco is one of just six skaters in history to land a 900, but unfortunaltey he fell on all four subsequent attempts over the gap and never got to throw the 900 on the quarterpipe.

Burnquist’s winning run featured a switch frontside 540 over the gap and a unique, lien-to-frontside grab 540 on the quarterpipe.

Jamie Bestwick won the gold in the bmx vert competition with a score of 92 points, two points better than McCann, who won the silver medal. McCann landed the second no-handed 900 in BMX competition history. Vince Byron claimed bronze thanks to a 540 double tailwhip.

Nate Adams won Moto X Freestyle gold over Adam Jones(silver) and Dany Torres(bronze). His victory is due to big tricks such as one-handed takeoff to nac-nac backflip, 360 fender grab over the 75-foot gap and a massive 360 over the 90-foot gap. Jones was the only competitor trying the “rigor mortis,” his new signature trick, and landed several huge backflip double grabs, but he fell short of Adams in the final score: Adams 91, Jones 86, Torres 83.

Marisa Dal Santo claimed her third X Games gold medal in the Women’s Skateboard Street finals over Alexis Sablone and Leticia Bufoni. Dal Santo missed several days of practice and skated the course for the first time just a half an hour before finals. She improved with each run as finals progressed, with frontside lipslides over a perilous roof gap and big tricks like a backside 180 kickflip up the step-up gap and a crooked grind on the 6-stair down rail. Sablone got the biggest trick of the day landing kickflip to 50-50 grind but she fell down the biggest handrail and missed the gold.

Steve McCann won the gold medal in bmx big air, followed by Vince Byron and Chad Kagy. McCann’s final run included a double front flip to a massive double tailwhip on the quarterpipe, where he flew more than 15 feet off the lip.

Jacko Strong wins Moto X Best Trick, landing the first-ever competition front flip. Travis Pastrana, expected to be one of the highlights of the event, crashed two times and had left the place. Cam Sinclair placed second with a double backflip with nac-nac variations on the second flip. Double backflip variations are practically unheard of in FMX competition. And third was Josh Sheehan.

Raven Tershy won the Skateboard Park finals on opening night of X Games 17, beating out 2010 champ Pedro Barros and newcomer Ben Hatchell in a tight fight for the podium. Barros was throwing down 540s in every run, but didn’t succeeded into defending his X Games 16 gold.

Matt Buyten wins gold in Step Up, followed by Ronnie Renner and Myles Richmond.

In the moto X Best Whip Results we see Jeremy Stenberg followed by Todd Potter and Jarryd McNeil.
