The Snowpark Seiser Alm offers you endless runs and super long different lines in one of Italys longest snowparks (approx. 1500 mt).

With many obstacles (approx. 40 % of the setup are ready now) in the middle of a stunning panorama the Snowpark Seiser Alm has a lot of good news for this season:
- new artificial snow system for the upper park

– upgrade medium kicker line (4 kicker)
– upgrade pro kicker line (3 kicker)

Markus Eder is the King of the Red Bull Jib Ski Kings! 19 riders, pros and amateurs, struggled on Sunday April 3rd in this special contest.  In a beautiful sunny day, on the Spitzbuhl slope of Alpe di Siusi, the twenty years old skier from Alto Adige won the battle.

The concept of this contest is something new and different from all the others. Instead of the huge artificial structures of the park, the riders had to deal with natural obstacles put on an ordinary slope. For once, nature was the protagonist.

So the riders didn’t have large structures and they had to be really creative to perform nice tricks on those strange obstacles like haycocks and natural rails.

First place went to Markus Eder, while second was Mcrae Williams, from USA, and third Andreas Bacher. Among the amateurs, first was Michael Dursan, then Julian Stuppner and third Hannes Zemmer. The skiers were judged on quantity of tricks, variety, esecution/style, use of the track.

03.04.2011 – Seiser Alm, Alpe di Siusi – Spitzbühl Lift

On Sunday April 3rd come to celebrate the end of the season with the first creative free-ski contest. You won’t find huge freaking structures, but obstacles that you could find naturally on the slopes. Respect the Nature.

The guys of the King Laurin, the Panettone Bros, are working hard to turn the Spitzbhul slope in a play ground never seen before. Your style and creativity will make the difference: hand plant, fast plant, slide, spin, lip trick… and anything that comes to your mind.

The format of the Red Bull Jib-ski Kings it’s pretty simple. Every participant has two runs to qualificate to the finals. Competition is open for 40 freeskiers; 16 places are reserved for the pro guests, the others can participate filling the form that you’ll find on the link below.

We’re almost at the end of xmas holidays, and I guess most of you went riding in those days. Was amazing, isn’t it? Well, let’s see how it was at the KingLaurin Snowpark, Südtyrol, thanks to some images sent us by our dear Simon Profanter.

KingLaurin Snowpark opened on December 18 to begin this new season 2010/2011.
