WAY OF THE OCEAN is a documentary of epic proportions that will be released as a five part movie series; Australia is the first film in the series set for release early 2011

Upcoming soon, Way of the Ocean is not really classifiable under the category of “surf film”. At least, this would be just too reductive.

Produced by Circulate Motion Pictures, directed by Matt Kleiner and produced by Straayer, Wedding and Ventolini, the film has been fully filmed in the most beautiful and untamed Australian spots, including of course all the famous surf locations but with a nice touch of secret places fully to be discovered.

What will left you wordless is the superb cinematography. Quality of video is just above excellence, action shots are awesome including aerial and underwater filming. The vibe of the movie is really near the surf core attitude: wildlife, love for the sea and natural environment, showing us not just the surf culture but more the Ocean culture, the experience of travelling and discovering.

Needless to say, surfs here is top class. Featuring Josh Kerr, Adam Robertson, Dane Reynolds, Asher Pacey, Taj Burrow, Craig Anderson, Jordy Smith and Kelly Slater.

Believe it or not, it’s an indie production.
