An unforgettable urban skiing adventure to the Murmansk Oblast.

The guys from Flatlight Films and the Nipwitz Crew explored this far north-west part of Russia, finding such an amazing, decaying, urban environment, going from abandoned military headquarters to the grey suburbs of the cities and industrial areas.

Every place remind us of revolution, politic, war, the rise and decline of the Russian Empire…and riders decided to celebrate this with some insane tricks.

    • We already mentioned this Finland audiovisual newco, Flatlight Films, and really have to say that their new jobs are just getting so huge that it’s almost impossible not to stop and sit down for a watch.

    Their new release is a really short, about 10 min., freesky video, “Hello”, fully filmed in Ylläs ski resort in Lapland with just 4 skiers, a filmer and a still photographer.

    So should You think of a more slim production? But checkin out the video, you’ll be definitively stoked. Skiers are just so stylish and fresh, well don’t ask me about moves, but surely they’re going huge there. Editing and shooting is really sick, next level quality. The signature of the kids is definitively this super slowmo, it’s good and gives an epic surrounding to the whole stuffs.

    Gotta check this out:

They create videos and shortfilms with high quality images and they do it with every conditions, also the worst ones. Snowboard videos, freeski videos, music videos and SO ON…Creativity is one of their key concept, and they’re working also on a new trend, the shortfilms. Bigger is better? Of course, not!
