Simone Barraco is the Italian flagship in the bmx world. You surely know how he rocks, that’s why you have to watch, support and share all his super sick edits. Here’s the last one shot in BCN, with a short story behind.

Last winter, Simone spent a month in Barcelona, chilling with friends, partying, and occasionally riding. When he got back from his trip, he made a quick edit of himself with the footage he collected. In his eyes, these are all scraps and shouldn’t be watched. But when we watched it on our recent European tour, we knew these were clips that had to be seen! With a train ride and a quick cleanup of the editing, we present to you Simone Scrappin’. Enjoy!

Here’s a nice edit from various 2012 footage the kids of FTC have shot in Barcelona. You can understand by yourself why BCN became the most prolific city for European skateboarding so far.

Mark Suciu was training for Euro12 recently at the infamous Parallel ledges in Barcelona . Despite a few setbacks, including getting nailed by a soccer ball mid trick, he came out victorious with a rad line.

I made this shot last summer in Barcelona . It was about one year ago and I had an amazing time with all the people I met there, the Italian crew <3, guys from FTC and lot of more. Summer is coming, so warm up and be ready to catch your wave, it will be long –but not endless! In this cover, Luca Donadini thrashed the Arc de Triomf spot with a crazy Kgrind. He’s a super nice guy, and a damn fine skater! Props homie!!!

Martin Söderström has always had a problem getting enough hours on the bike during the winter season in snowy Sweden. This year was no different, but when he and the videographer Simon Berggren, went to Barcelona for eleven days he made the best out of it. It looks like the break from the bike only did him good and he looks better prepared then ever for this season! Watch the clip below:

Martin’s thoughts about the project:

“I have taken part in many edits and movies over the years, but they have always been filmed for someone else and kind of on other peoples’ terms. But this time I just felt like doing a video for myself, where I could decide where to ride, when to ride and to ride without any pressure and just have fun filming for the edit.
That is also why there are only three different spots in the movie, because those were the three spots I enjoyed riding the most.”

“The technical riding in Barcelona was also the perfect preparation for the first stops of the FMB World Tour. Definitely reached all of my goals for this edit, now I feel prepared and am very proud of what me and Simon managed to come up with.”

DC Italy Team went skating the DC Embassy in Barcelona. Daniele Gally, Renè Olivo, Andreo Lopez, Luca Collu and Fancy showed their best on the epic structures, and here’s the final video. From skateboarders to skateboarders.

After having heard many voices about the “The DC Embassy” project, from skateboarders to skateboarders, the indoor skatepark of Barcelona has finally opened the doors showing all its beauty. And here we’re showing you the first videos and pictures. If you’re planning a skate trip to Barcelona, this is surely one of the spots you must add to your list.

For more than ten years Barcelona has been the European epicentre of skateboarding even if there wasn’t a real structure. That’s why DC decided to reward the city with a super sick concrete indoor park.

“We knew something was missing in Europe, a place where anyone could street skate with team and friends without having troubles” said Ruben Garcia, Europe DC Team Manager and one of the minds behind the project. ” DC Embassy it’s a meeting place for all the European skaters who’ll like to share this space: a place for pure skateboarding.”
