June 7th, 2012 by admin received Comments Off TweetSay good-bye to game rooms and consoles! A new generation of videogames to play both online and in the streets is now here: as of 15 May, the Red Bull Skate Arcade is open. This level skateboard contest awards you with a trip to California.
How do you participate? All you have to do is register – free of charge – at www.redbullskatearcade.it , find out the tricks that will be posted every week starting 5 June, train and then do them.
You must make a short video (60 seconds max.) and upload it onto www.redbullskatearcade.it . Every uploaded clip that fulfils all requested standard rules will “unlock” one of the six programmed levels.
Once all the levels have been “unlocked”, you will be able to participate in the Grand Finale on 21 July at the Railway Skate Park in Brescia to try and win an exclusive trip to the Skateboarder Paradise: California!
The challenges in Brescia start at 8:00 p.m. and the skateboarder who accumulates the most points and manages to “stay alive” through the many challenges he or she will have to face will be acclaimed the winner of the Red Bull Skate Arcade. The best skateboarders will get a chance to meet top riders from all over world in California and win a trip to some of the most famous skateboarding spots such as the Skate Lab and Sheckler’s private skate park.
But that’s not all… the 10 skateboarders who will have accumulated the most points during the online stage by having received the most hits of their uploaded videos and the number of videos uploaded within a short amount of time will have their travel expenses to the Finale in Brescia reimbursed.
Just skaters living in Italy can take part in Red Bull Skate Arcade.
