Hi Stefano, let’s start with some presentation: how old are you, and where do you come from?
Hi, I’m 23 and I live in Ventimiglia, near Imperia.
Sponsors and hook ups?
Starboard Skateshop and Fresco Distribution help me a lot and Pachyderm skateboards gives me boards.
Where do you usually skate? What’s your favourite spot and why?
I often skate here in Ventimiglia, even if it doesn’t have many spots to offer. But I like leaving home with the skate under my feet. Sometimes I go to Imperia or in France since I live very close to the border. I don’t have any favourite spot, but there’s one I love in particular: it’s behind Ventimiglia’s train station.. it’s not so good but it’s where I used to go when I still didn’t have a car. And I still go there when I have no money to move around. It’s a sort of gym for me. Anyway I love traveling and searching new spots and lately I’ve been skating in Genoa.
How long have you been riding? Can you remember why did you choose to skate?
I’ve been skating for 8 years but I had to take a 2 years stop because of my knee. I’ve loved skateboarding since I was 4 years old. I was living with my oncle who was a skateboarder and at that age I used a board for the first time: my friends and I sit on some large boards and rolled down steep descents!
We know you’re a street ripper. What’s the structure you love the most?
I try to get used to any kind of structure, so I haven’t got a favourite one
How’s your typical day? What do you do in your life besides skateboarding?
I get up late, drink a cappuccino, watch a skate video, listen to some music then go out and skate!
I like to create beat music with my pc and I also play drums.
Are you involved in any other board sport, for example snowboarding or surfing?
Only skateboarding
Your 3 fav tricks: the trick you love the most, the most difficult one in your portfolio, and the one you hope to land soon:
I don’t know, lol, I love every single trick and I want to learn a new one every day !
What do you think about the Italian skateboarding scene if compared to the international one? What about the Ligurian scene?
I think the Italian scene is constantly evolving, and also the Ligurian one is pretty important
What are your projects for the future? Trips, contests and so on?
I’d like to move to another country, to leave with a friend and keep on skateboarding.
We know you live near the border between Italy and France, so the question is easy: Italy or France? Why?
I like both of them, France has a lot more to offer, but in Italy I feel at home and it’s cool
What’s the video that hypes you the most? And the skater?
I don’t know, there are too many cool clips. My favourite skater is the one who doesn’t go home until he lands the trick .
Thank you Stefano, last line is yours. Feel free to add whatever you want!
Thank you so much for the itw, and hello to everyone!
