November 17th, 2011 by admin received Comments Off TweetRip Curl has created a technologically advanced clip with multiscopy effects – multiscopy consists in a line of cameras firing consistently as surfers ride towards and past it- in order to create frozen moments of time that can be viewed in a combination of angles. In a few words, the surfers are frozen in the air as if time had stood still and you were moving around them. Pretty sick isn’t it? The technique is somewhat complicated and, as said above, a large number of cameras are needed. RipCurl and TimeSlice used 30 GoPro HD video cameras to gain this ‘Matrix style’ effect. The video is stunning, it’ll definitely blow your mind!
