Can’t think of a best way to celebrate the first year of the SkateHouse than with this super sick skate contest that the guys of SH, togheter with Skatetoua Crew and supported by SKATEHOUSE SKATESHOP, Jart, Circa, Fallen and DC, held in the amazing local bowl park in sestri ponente.

It has been more than just a contest – it has been a rendez-vous for all the kids that usually skate the park and the streets of Genoa. All the local riders were there – Lo Spesso, Alex Cageggi and his brother, Mathias Meloni, Apu, Ence, Andrea and the VRZZ crew, Branca, and so on, name them all will be too long! Also Ivan Federico spotted the bowl throwing some nice tricks with his usual style.

The feeling was super friendly, everybody was skating, having fun, and pushing each other.

The format of the contest was of single runs with a few skaters in it to let the riders skating all the street area of the park being sure to be noticed by judges. In the final run the best one resulted to be Kevin Duman, followed by Julio Ramirez and Apugayun Hampe.

Here the final results:
1 Kevin Duman
2 Julio Ramirez
3 Apugayun Hampe
4 Devid Ball
5 Andrea scampino
6 Enrico montano
7 Riccardo Vallarino
8 Gianluca Nocchiero
The contest has been followed by a super cool best trick contest, and another good news is that in next months it’ll be possible to have free skate lessons in the park – That’s the best way to spread the word to the next generations!
Thanks to all the guys that came here to skate and supported the contest, we hope to see many events like this in genoa!! skate on!
