Report Maccagno Beach
July 28th, 2011 by admin received Comments Off TweetThe fourth edition of the Maccagno Beach has been a great success. The event combines skateboarding and rock’n’roll and every summer it warms the shore of the Lake Maggiore.
Saturday July 23rd was the day of the skate contest that saw at least thirty athletes coming from both Italy and Swiss, together with the well known Warriors from Lugano.
The contest follows always the format of the jam session, and the best tricks were awarded with some stuff kindly offered by Spy Optic and Vans and with a prize money of 500€.
Guido Stazi won the ‘Best Trick’ prize, followed by Martino Cattaneo, Marco Vagani and Roy Clavadetscher.
The skating sessions were accompanied by the dj set of Indie-rock.it, and by the live concerts of some local bands like Duckpond, Insooner and The Wyns.
The not so good weather didn’t manage to spoil the enthusiasm of skaters, bands and public.
And at the end of the day a special afterparty with Il Triangolo, and Idee Partycolari.
The next appointment with Maccagno Beach, organized by ‘Fat Lake Entertainment’, is for the next summer!
