Frabosa Mt Moro – Bikepark review

June 21st, 2011 by admin received Comments Off

Another weekend passed, we’re in the heart of the bike season, and we went riding another nice park of the surroundings, Frabosa-Mt Moro. I’m sorry I didn’t take many pics, but actually I was there to ride (or better, to try to ride) me too, and I just took a couple of low quality images at the end of the day. We’ll do something more next time!

Anyway, Frabosa Bikepark is extremely fun. The mountain is served by a chair lift which takes you 800 meters upper. Then you can choose among five different tracks with a difficult level which varies between medium(only the Wood Green track), medium/difficult (Rambla and Avenida) and difficult(Garganta del Diablo and Trampa). Each track is characterized by unique features and the resort is full of wooden obstacles, very steep descents, sharp turns, jumps, roots, technical sections in the forest.

The tracks are on average 4/4,5 km long and they all have really fast and challenging passages. The Avenida is the longest track, 6 km, and it’s on the other side of the mountain, where we must expect some novelty for the future. In the end, it’s absolutely worth riding Frabosa. The resort is open till August 28th – during the weekends of June and July, and everyday from July 30th to August 28th. The price for the whole day is 15 euro, and the chair lift is open from 9:30am to 5pm.

The whole is plunged in a beautiful mountain landscape and the resort is easily reachable from the highway. Plus, there are all the commodities you could need: a parking, a café restaurant, a hotel, free washing of the bikes, a hire and repair store. More info and contacts are available on Freebosaride.it. See you there!
