Opening Super pipe in Nebelhorn, Germany

Germany freestyle community finally has a half pipe. It has been officially opened on March 1, with the sun and the Olympic champion Nicola Thost and pros like David Benedek, Ethan Morgan, Markus Keller and Christopher Thoresen. Moreover, March 26 it’s going to take place there the official German Snowboard Halfpipe Championships.
In the US a basic in every sport resort, and finally also Germany has its own half-pipe. After only three months, a record-breaking design and implementation time, the only Superpipe in Germany was inaugurated. It’s the response to the call of the Facebook community PipeAid. Red Bull and Nebelhornbahn-AG aswered immediately and worked with know-how, passion and the necessary budget for the project.
On March 26 will be held here the official German Snowboard Halfpipe Championships. Nicola Thost: “I really looking forward to the German championships. In Germany we have many incredibly talents and it’ll be interesting to see how they are reflected in a half-pipe of this size and who will continue in the future. “
