Meating is the new project created by TrueLove in association with Comune di Savona. The project is taking place in Savona in the former butchery (search for Savona, Piazzale Amburgo), a huge structure that has never been used – everything inside is unreal, new and clean – and is going to host different kinds of events, from skateboarding to music, arts, stickers, literature, videos, etc.
During the opening event we had a wide range of activities: lots of music on two stages (MGZ, Junglist Pirates + Luconbass + Soundarmato, Soulskinbass, Robottino on the main and Raggaddicted, Snauzersound, Trubuladies on the second), a free skate area by the JF Club guys including a funny mini ramp with some extensions – local skaters chewed it up hyping each other with amazing tricks – I suppose everything feasible has been dropped or tried yesterday evening ehhe!
The whole area has been enriched with some conceptual paints and installations from Ericailcane (www.ericailcane.org/)
MEATING runs from December to June, so stay tuned for more news and events!! Let’s make the city live again!
