The Diffusion Video Review

November 8th, 2010 by admin received Comments Off

Well, if I’d come up saying “Lithuania”, what You’d be thinking about? I guess “skateboarding” would not be the first answer, right?

But yes, things change and evolve, and now we’re here to talk about an indie video preview straight outta the Baltic Sea, The Diffusion.

This about 25 min. length videos has been fully edited and filmed by Artūras Jendovickis, (Cliché Skateboards). Released in 2010 it includes almost two years of filming and skating. Nice to say, despiting no big name or heavy sponsorship dropped in, the video get some pretty rating worldwide.

Filming and editing are really good, honestly not far from the high top standards, making the video enjoyable and funny to watch since the very beginning, also thanks to “Born to be wild” from Steppenwolf playin’ in the background! And then the Beatles too! That’s some heavy class, mates!

Skating is solid – don’t be expecting the latest gnarliest tricks, of course – but the kids roll fast and crazy on, getting thru some amazing street spots. I’ve also loved so much the transfers and combos they found ‘round the city, parts are well balanced and fitted, so really it flows easy and You’ll find yourself rewind hundred times to get again that trick or that part.

Being an indie prod, so stoked to see so many different location, filmed in Spain, Norway, Czech republic, Latvia and Lithuania.

Featuring riding from Einius Žiūkas, Pavel Berezjuk, Domis Žukauskas, Artūras Jendovickis and Gytis Bliuvas.
